Snow Day!

After our wonderful Christmas vacation, we were surprised with a snow day on what was supposed to be our first day back to school!  It had snowed overnight, so there was about a foot of snow on the ground.  Pretty normal for Indiana, but not for Korea!  They hardly ever get snow that sticks to the ground!  Apparently, it was the most snow at one time that Korea has seen in 70 years!  It was funny to watch the Koreans use brooms to sweep the snow away, and construction trucks to try to remove it from the roads.  They don't really have a good way of dealing with that much snow!  It was also fun to see so many people outside jumping and playing in the snow.  We were excited too because we were not expecting to see snow this winter.  Plus, we got a snow day, and a one day extension on our vacation!
