There's no place like home!

Well, we've been state-side for a little over a week now, and we are loving life!  But it was quite the adventure getting here!  Including travel time to and from the airports, air travel, and lay-overs, we were in transit for 28 hours!  IT WAS TOO LONG!  We also had some drama, which seems to follow me everywhere.  When we got to the airport in Seoul, we found out that our school hadn't renewed our visas like they said they had.  So, we had to run to the immigration office in the airport to get temporary, single-entry visas so that we would be allowed back into Korea.  It was stressful to say the least.  After that, our 10 hour flight to Seattle was actually very pleasant.  We had two good meals and watched movies and played games on our own personal screens.  Seriously, those things are awesome.  When we arrived in Seattle, drama ensued again.  Because of a delay on our flight, we knew we would have less than an hour to go through immigration, collect and recheck our baggage, go through security, and find our new departing gate.  After much prodding, the flight attendants allowed us to get off the plane first, and we hit the ground running!  We were so nervous that we wouldn't make it through everything, but then we were met by an airline representative.  He showed us where to take our bags, and then ushered us through to our gate.  We were so thankful that we didn't miss our connecting flight!  From Seattle, we flew to Phoenix, and then on to Chicago.  Tim said I had about 3 mental breakdowns throughout the trip, which is probably about right. :)  Sleep deprivation and being cooped up in a little seat for hours on end will do that to you, I guess!  But the reunion in Chicago was more than worth it all!  It was so wonderful to see and hug my family again!  IT'S SO GREAT TO BE HOME!!
